My experience includes navigating disability, educational concerns, veteran populations, self-advocacy, and minority populations.
I specialize in vocational expert testimony and significant employment barriers presented to various populations such as, individuals with disabilities, disadvantaged adults and youth, ex-felons, veterans, older workers, and dislocated workers. Expertise in national employment estimates, the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, and the Selected Characteristics of Occupations.
Under Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a reasonable accommodation is a modification or adjustment to a job, the work environment, or the way things are usually done during the hiring process. These modifications enable an individual with a disability to have an equal opportunity not only to get a job, but successfully perform their job tasks to the same extent as people without disabilities. Through an interactive process with the employee and organziation, the reviewing of documentation, and knowledge of Title I and Section 504 I specialize in establishing appropriate accommodations for the workplace and educational environments.
